“ Hard Day Exhaustion (inspired by Walker Evans) ”
I used the random generator and was given American photographer Walker Evans. The photojournalist was best known for his work for the Farm Security Administration documenting the effects of the Great Depression, although he did work before 1929 and after. I knew I would submit a B&W photo for sure and set out thinking about different backdrops. On Tuesday my husband was working outside all day in the cold and he had a hard day around the property including tripping over the tractor and ripping his pants completely open behind his right knee and thigh. He was exhausted and so disheveled. Perfect subject and circumstance for Walker Evans inspiration. I took 3 photos total of him. This was the 1st. I'm submitting Wednesday in case I don't come up with anything better or get too busy.
